Had our shop mates over at Cape Codder Boat Company bring in this slab of Alder out of the backyard. It sat in a corner of the shop for a bit before Ian decided to take the sander to it & get something going. Here are some progress shots through to the finished table. Came out pretty nice for winging it with found wood around the shop!

New post up showing progress picks & the results of the latest little project.Check out the Thought Rock I've been carving on.The rock is from our Grandfathers property in Boise, Idaho. The base is freehand drawn & carved with Maori / Polynesian influence that's been an ongoing theme since living in New Zealand. http://wittbrosworks.com
