About a few years ago I took the saying "Trash to Treasure" to heart.

At Simply Refurbished, I transform quality furniture into custom statement pieces through professional refinishing, custom wood accents, and modern design. I do a lot of riding around the city I live in only to see that people actually throw away Teasure that could brighten up someone's day, better yet brighten up a Families day. So, what I've done is actually jumped out of my car and started stocking up on old Chest of Drawers and redefining them as Kid Wardrobes. Parents and kids love these things. It gives them a chance to pick out what they're going to wear with little help from adults will saving tons of space for playing. The size of the Chest put kids at the perfect position to grab from the installed hanging rod and access to a drawer where you can store! (socks, under clothes etc.)I dont sell them for much which is why I asking for any donations so I can start buying supplies in bulk to keep this thing going. The reaction kids have when they see this wardrobes are priceless. Thanks for reading and please help me keep furinshing kids room for cheap.

🔨 New project in the shop!

I’ve been working on something a little different lately — a custom shot cart that will eventually be available to rent for parties and events.
Still in the building stage, but I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at how it’s coming together. There are a few custom details I’m adding that I think are going to make this one pretty cool.

🔨 FROM ROT TO RESTORED! 🏠
This project was a BIG one!
What started as exterior damage turned into a full rebuild of the chimney chase. Once we opened it up, we found extensive water damage and rotten framing that needed to be addressed before anything could be covered back up.
We tore out the damaged material, rebuilt the framing, reinforced the structure, replaced damaged sheathing, added proper weather protection, coordinated the flashing, repaired the framing around the sliding door, installed the new sliding door, and finished everything back out with new siding and trim.
From exposed, damaged framing ➡️ to a clean, finished exterior.
This is why you can't always judge a house by what you see on the outside. Sometimes you have to open it up to find the real problem.

💢Behind the scenes update 💢

I had to step away from furniture for a bit and tackle a different kind of project. This back door had some serious water damage, so I opened it up, rebuilt the framing, replaced the damaged wood, insulated it, and got everything sealed back up.

New furniture coming soon.
