2nd time getting a request for this plaque. First time was last year and I really didn't know what I was doing having never carved depth transitions before by hand.. still it turned out ok. This year I got a bit more creative on my line work( now that I sort of know what I'm doing😋) and can honestly say its day and night different(at least to me). Really proud how this turned out especially with the Mahogany stain and clear coat. All done by hand no CNC at all. But when it's requested to look like it was done on a cnc and all you have are palm routers your only option is to figure it out.

Took some time off to work on the pool and do some renovations to our house. Sort of in a temporary stand still with that so taking the opportunity to get caught up on some projects I've got on the backburner, let the madness begin on trying to get caught up lol. Pics coming soon!

A brother was struggling and I felt I needed to do something having my own struggles as well.. I carved and sent this to him to help motivate his spirits and he received it today and his response overwhelmingly touched my heart and I wanted to share.. not for the recognition or "attaboys" did I do this, but as a veteran with a 20 year career having recently ended and dealing with my own demons for the better part of 15 years I feel like we are our brothers(and sisters) keeper. When they struggle we too struggle so we need to do everything within our means to help Lift each other up and keep each other's spirits motivated, I try to do that with wood working sometimes I fail, and sometimes, like today I feel like I succeeded. The mission is to end the 22 a day.. if your struggling with your own demons always know you are not alone in your fight no matter how low you feel or overwhelmed please reach out let's chat,vent,cry,scream whatever you need to do but let's fight together.
Just some morning motivation for ya'll stay classy! 😉
