We finally did it!
Last year at this time we actually listed their home. Literally just days before Christmas. Which is never the ideal time but they had found a home they really loved. A home they could see their family in as a next step. So we hoped even if it wasn’t the best time that there would be a buyer for them as well!
We sat on the market for nearly 3 months before they very assuredly said let’s pull it. We are OK with this not being in Gods plan for us.
As a Realtor it never feels good to pull a listing. And I have done that more in this current market than ever before. Open houses sit empty. Facebook Ads lead to dead ends. It’s felt like we have pulled all the triggers with no outcomes.
Fast forward a few months and they purchase a lot to build on in the new community they are excited to be entering. So we re-list in the summer! The actual ideal time for listing a home. Historically speaking. And again. The buyers are few and far between. Open houses sit empty.
And just as we had discussions of pulling it again for the holidays. That perfect buyer comes through! And here we are today!! Sold! The transaction was a breeze.
And here’s the thing y’all. Real Estate can be a breeze. And yet a lot of times it can be an actual rollercoaster. You could be looking at an endless listing wondering if it will ever sell and 30 days later moved because it actually did!
As a person of faith I hear people say all the time. Well if it doesn’t go immediately or perfectly it must not be in Gods plan. And I will say. Real Estate has challenged that theory more than once. I could hand you some sellers who would tell you it wasn’t necessarily perfect in the time. But hindsight is 20/20 and it worked out just as it should have.
So congrats to my sellers!! They are on their way to the dream home they have been patiently waiting for. And I am just so grateful for their trust in me every step of the way to get them there. This is officially the 3rd time I have helped them buy or sell and to be honest. Those are the goals in a Real Estate career. To have repeat clients, strangers turn friends etc. those are the true blessings. 🏡❤️
