We didn’t get the final install photos on this one… because the kitchen was still under construction.

But even unfinished, these deep-toned walnut counter & island tops were already stealing the show.

There’s just something about rich walnut grain that brings warmth, depth, and a custom-built feel you can’t fake. This kitchen is going to be incredible when it’s finished.

To make these types of tables you have to be very flexible and open minded on how things “should be done”. Something goes wrong and not according to plan on Every. Single. Table! 😆 Learning to improvise and maintain a high level of consistency in your finish product even with special requests from clients is what makes our job fun😜

This Loblolly Pine at one time was the biggest in the State of Arkansas growing on Ben & Leslie Montgomery’s farm. It started getting killed by beetles and needed to be removed. They wanted to turn one of the rounds into a wall art for their new cabin. This will last forever and be a great piece of family history and a beautiful conversation piece!
