I spent two months creating this furniture / then-
In April drove 1100 miles to Austin TX to deliver King Size bed and Dining room set to the kids!
Drive = Horrible. Delivery = Pure Joy!😍

The shop is developing several new designs - and not taking commissions.
However - I continue to make Torah readers Yad’s for the Rabbi’s and Bar/Bat mitzvah students that request them. An honor for me.

karrcustromfurniture.com In between the 26 December Nutcrackers/Messiahs and Church concerts, I've been busy in the woodshop building this Quarter sawn White Oak LIQUOR Cabinet. The design process was lots of fun, and my clients opted for this arched design. LOTS of challenges, but solutions are always just acouple of head scratches away! On to the next projects du jour!

Grandpa (Pop-Pop) - loves to build things... SO - what could be better than a Mickey/Minnie childs bed for the Grandkids!!

Now that all FOUR are sleeping over, Kathy and I need more beds! (I still have to "dress" Minnie - but almost all done!)

Music Stand #2 is going out tmrw.... I just took it for a "test ride" and tried it at several different heights. I'll incorporaste a few more curves (in the central vertical column) into the design for Stand #3 . (Walnut, Curly Maple, and the k**b includes some Wenge)! karrcustomfurniture.com

Week 5 - Buffet project ended today. Week 6 .... I will complete this very big, complex project. Drawers in, doors built. - Doors: I will balance the reveals, hinge, and attach handles, build 6 shelves and apply stain and final topcoat this week. Sadly, MOCHA will lose his cool hangout! (No, he didn’t ti**le inside there!!)

DINING ROOM BUFFET!
Follow my 21 day journey thus far.
Beginning with design, to milling lumber, building the main frame and drilling all the shelf pin holes, the MAJOR glue-up, and mounting drawer slides, gluing up the top and still to come: making 4 drawers and 4 doors, mounting, finishing.... Etc.
Work is GOOD!
