In this historic Cherokee Gardens residence, every space tells a story of memory, elegance, and transformation. Under the creative direction of , Vice President of Residential Design at , the former 1910 carriage house was thoughtfully restored and adapted for contemporary living, preserving its original architectural richness while introducing new layers of sophistication and character.

From the selection of antiques and textiles to the redesign of custom details and the integration of timeless pieces, Cimba’s work reflects a vision deeply attuned to context, history, and functionality. There are homes to be lived in and homes that live within us. This is a story about the latter.
“As soon as I saw it, I thought ‘that’s our house,” remarked the wife about the circa 1910 carriage-house-turned-residence in Cherokee Gardens.
