Sometimes you have to take a step not back or forth, but down. Down to rest, to allow your body and mind to go a little haywire for a moment, to stretch your physical and also existential legs. To see these seasons of change as an opportunity. Not just a continuation of the constant influx of information and change we experience everyday now, but an opportunity.

What to do with an opportunity?! Its so much pressure! And yet, its no pressure at all, light and soft even. A pesky little thing, an opportunity. Because the thing that makes it scary, is actually you. Shaping an opportunity into whatever you want it to be. Maybe this time, its an opportunity to look with wonder and imagination and awe again. Maybe this time, you push the existential cloud of self doubt away. You can look with a playfulness, a bellowy fold of your mind you've been missing. An opportunity, something not to hurt you, instead a self sharpened tool to both comfort and teach you.

To all my creatives, artists, craftsman, and 3 a.m. thinkers out there, be gentle with yourself in this season of change.

Firestarters! With spring around the corner, campfires, grills, firepits, and backyard get-togethers are back! We have a lot we need to set on fire, and we have what you need!

Made with hardwood saw dust and bees wax mix, these little fireflys burn for hours. Made with recycled paper and ecologically sourced wax.

One box is four large firestarters - only $10- plus shipping depending where you are.
We can also do custom orders of sizes or sawdust wax mixes for special events and longer burnings.
