Liked the trees so much that my wife wanted a set for us! Used Minniwax stain instead of paint (I hate to paint!)

A friend asked me if I could make yard ornament Christmas trees, he had a pick for an example.
I think they came out pretty nice, I’m leaving them in the raw form, because his wife likes to craft and will decorate as she likes.
I will be selling these as seasonal items! Very fun build! Especially the Texas Star!

CRB Butt Wrap Alignment Tool

A buddy of mine took up a new hobby of custom fishing Rod building. He had said he needed a wrap alignment tool for custom thread wrapping patterns but didn’t like the cheap looking plastic models.
Well here is my version - 12” long Birch with 1 1/2” aluminum angle iron.

Sorry everyone for the absence from here, but I’ve been shooting some trap competitions and was taking a break, but I always help out my friends in need!
My friend bought a shotgun that had a recoil reducer butt plate insert removed. So I filled most of the gap with a walnut plug and we added a mercury recoil reducer and added machine screw inserts to attach his Kick-eez recoil pad. Overall I’m happy with the results.
Lol Harbor Freight screw clamp modified to hold the stock was clutch to get it all done!

A little charcuterie board I made for donation to my friends child’s school fundraiser! Threw in a bottle opener and a tin of my board butter!
Can’t wait to hear how it goes!!!

Finishing up an end grain walnut Butcher block board for a friend of mine. Out of the oil bath and overnight on the drying rack, tomorrow I’ll rub it down with my homemade board conditioner.

The Walnut for this board was harvested from my friends property, he believes it was over 80 years old, he remembers it from when he was a boy!

Board Measurements are 32”x18x2” thick

Making matching boards for my Sister in Law, to match the small cheese board she already has! I was able to find a lot of curly maple so these boards are going to look awesome.
