12 and Counting is a series of nesting boxes extracted from a large piece of salvaged Chamel ash. A year ago the tree this wood came from endured the Eaton Fire that took place at the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains in the town of Altadena. I’m really honored to have had the opportunity to transform this material into something that may carry forward a small slice of history from a time and place that is now held in memory. A strong community of artists have also done the same and we invite you to join us tonight - now! 4-7pm .losangeles
