We went back there for the first 5 years of my life, she witnessed friends being “lost” during the Pinochet take-over. Here we are 50 years later… My father came in his 20s from Italy. He renounced his Italian citizenship to fight for the US in the Korean War. They worked hard, raised families, paid taxes and love this country.
