It’s been 365 days since my last Instagram post because I put my life on hold in order to endure caring for my mother with cancer.

Single mom raised me and my sister alone and only gave us the best: clothes, food, & education money can buy. She was THE STRONGEST person I know. Everyone knows it.

October 11, 2016: my life changed forever. My mother underwent surgery to remove urachal tumor from her abdomen and had to do a partial cystectomy.

2017: she began 3 rounds of intense chemotherapy. And she fought tough but sadly unsuccessful. She was placed on a clinical trial that also wasn’t successful. I remained hopeful but it was torture to watch your parent go toe to toe with cancer and loose.

2018: Gamma knife radiation was performed because MRI revealed that there were mets in the left side of the brain.

Despite my mom going through all the pain and agony she remained sharp and witty. She was so optimistic; she would love when I bring her food from LA and tell her about the places I’ve been to.

February 2019: Mom passed peacefully with all our close family and friends. And it still hurts like it was yesterday. I don’t stop thinking about her. Closing her estate was the worst nightmare I had to take a break from everything. I tried to work and keep busy but it’s excruciatingly hard when you don’t have a mother or family to share it with, cheer you on, or give you advice. So I’ve been quietly working, and plotting. I’ve been doing a lot of golfing and cooking because that’s what my mother and I shared. Especially now with the holidays around the corner I fu***ng miss you mom. 1st holiday without you. I’m thankful for everything you have instilled and given me. I’m thankful you aren’t suffering anymore. You’ll be proud to see how much I’ve accomplished. Love you Mom see you later.

SWIPE! OEM Camera & Lens Replacement. User cracked the lens and used tweezers to pick the area clean of glass. This exposed the camera internals and eventually the rear camera stopped focusing. Glad they knew to call @ MobileiPhoneGuy
