Raised in Venice Beach, California, Leeba distinctly recalls riding her bike throughout the streets of Venice and the influence the sixties culture and her bohemian surroundings had on her imagination, her creativity, and her life. Leeba Marks has an extensive background in the creation of artistic textile pieces, her primary focus being the creation of clothing from vintage textiles. As an Art Ma
jor, she underwent training that further developed skills she had already begun developing as a young adult. Under the label Leeba Marks, her unique line was sold in over 150 boutiques around the world. Leeba was featured in national publications such as Country Living, Victoria, The Los Angeles Times, and Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion, but she did not stop at vintage textiles, rather she continued to explore and create. Following her experiences in the vintage textile business, Leeba Marks created a children’s line called “Kaos Recycled.” Unique, modern and edgy, Kaos was sold nationwide in over 100 boutiques; it was worn by celebrity toddlers and children around the world. Leeba Marks now brings to you the combined vast array of skills of which she has spent years fine tuning, in the form of both vintage textiles and furniture.
