The Human Spirit is a 14' tall metal sculpture meant to embody all the different ethnicities and peoples of Los Angeles into one, single human spirit. This project has gone through 3 iterations over the last year. First it appeared at LA Decom 2012 and could be hand-pushed to spin. Next it appeared as a secret reveal during the burn of the Seraphim at BEquinox 2013. It's most recent appearance was at LA Decom 2013 with an added motor and massive flame effect. This was a collaborative art piece between the Los Angeles League of Arts and the Desert Wizards of Mars.

A citizen tribute to the real Mars Rover Curiosity built to carry 8 passengers across different art festivals and to teach art/science education in schools. Together, the Desert Wizards of Mars, a group of artists, scientists, cooks, and creators built this in Los Angeles. This rover features multiple scientific instruments, a rocket stove on the back to cook grilled cheese, and five cameras that live-stream our adventures to all those that couldn't make it. As the MRAC's Executive Officer, welder, and one of the lead fabricators, I was given the opportunity to be on a project from the very first sketches.
