Faux Rustic Hand Hewn Beam we just installed. Made of Knotty Alder and finished with Oil Plus 2C Walnut. We think it turned out pretty cool!

Happy Easter! For those of you who grew up in the church, Easter is likely something you began to take for granted. The same celebration and traditions year after year. The resurrection of Jesus is sadly an event that many take for granted. For those outside the church, it’s just another religious holiday that you likely find annoying or at least disregard.
But the older I get, the more Jesus draws me closer to Himself and the more I understand the Gospel, the more excited I get for Easter every year because this event is the most significant occurrence in all of human history!
The more I understand how hopelessly lost and sick with sin I am apart from Jesus, the more the celebration of Easter means to me on this day and everyday. I pray that as you reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus on this Resurrection Sunday, you may embrace Jesus as your Savior afresh. If you’ve never turned to Him, I pray you embrace His gift of grace today!
Don’t take for granted what Jesus did for YOU! Instead, worship Christ today and always with your whole being because: “According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be BORN AGAIN to a LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” - 1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭

How can we call the worst thing to ever happen, the ex*****on of the only perfect and innocent man to ever live, a good thing? That’s because it is simultaneously the best thing to ever happen! Jesus, the perfect and spotless Lamb, the man who lived a perfect life, was made to be the only perfect sacrifice in the place of sinners; in the place of those who once rejected Him! As Christians, we call today good because Jesus took OUR sins to the cross, bore OUR punishment for them, and paid the price we can NEVER pay. The cross made it so WE can have Eternal Life with God beyond this life. We escape Hell because Jesus went through hell, so we don’t have to! The benefits of the cross are available to ALL who believe! And today is GOOD… because of what happened three days later.

We just finished this fancy cigar humidor! The box is cherry with a maple top and maple splines. The box is lined with Spanish cedar to maintain proper humidity. The hinges are brass Brusso hinges. We used the to the cut the hinge mortises.

I just finished up this beautiful Walnut Coffee Table and it’s for sale! It’s 35” in diameter, 18” tall and is made from a local downed walnut tree here in Colorado! This table would fit nicely with Modern or Rustic styles. It has walnut dovetail keys made with and black epoxy for accents and stabilization. It’s finished with a hardwax oil which makes for great protection and easy repair if ever needed. If you’re interested send me a message. Price: $950.00.

Ash and Walnut Shuffle Board Coffee Table. This was the design and idea of one of the students in our churches youth group. This was custom made for the Youth room. He built most of it with some instruction along the way. It turned out great! The inlay was done using . We finished it with Mist 5% on the top and Walnut for the base.

This is a Custom Cabinet build we finished up a few weeks ago! We used Maple hardwood and sheet stock and obviously painted them olive green. The counter top and shelf are of solid Black Walnut with brass pulls for the doors. We are super pleased with how it turned out!

It’s Good Friday. Good Friday is a day to remember the sacrifice Jesus became on OUR BEHALF. It commemorates the day Jesus went to the cross and died in OUR PLACE. This is a day to remember that Jesus’ body was broken and his blood was poured out to pay the price for OUR SINS. We can call this day GOOD because of what Jesus accomplished for ALL who place their faith in Him! And we can call this day GOOD because of what happened on the third day! “He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in His mouth. When He was reviled, He did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but continued entrusting Himself to Him who judges justly. He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By HIS WOUNDS you have healed.” - 1 Peter 2:22-24
