This solid white oak gentlemans chest was made in the late 1800s, complete with knapp drawer joinery and hand forged nails. It was warped, wiggly, and literally falling apart. Drawer bottoms were broken and sagging, the back panel was replaced with a piece that didnt fit right which made it all crooked, all the joinery was "mis joined" and popping out, several broken drawer glides had to be repaired. I almost gave up, because it was a project I know I will not make money on considering the amount of time and effort I put in. But pieces like this are no longer made, and my heart couldnt let it go.

I definitely paid a premium for this one, but it’s the kind of rare find you just don’t come across often. I’m always pushing myself to expand my skills and add new knowledge to the toolbox, and this felt like one of those opportunities worth taking. Picked up some super cool finds last week! Working on pricing before they head to the booth, but the MCM bar cart will be here with me for awhile while I work on restoring it. That unicorn ring holder is going to be hard to part with. And for those who dont know, the globe is made of gemstones. Always a popular item! 😍

1800s Antique Solid Oak 4 drawer dresser with removeable mirror. Original marble (some staining not too noticeable), original hardware, on casters.
--While I do restore antique furniture this was not restored by me and is sold in its current state.
--I fixed the drawers to slide smoothly. Drawer bottoms could use some liner. I will line free of charge if interested!
--Excellent condition for its age-when restoring its matching piece I learned it was originally fully restored in 1993.
--Without mirror it measures 38" wide, 17" deep, 30.5" tall. With mirror it is 75" tall.
-- Versatile: use as dining storage, bedroom nightstand, foyer entry hall piece.
--A true well kept antique that will still complement todays styles (McGee and Co, Pottery Barn, etc.) Pick up in Loganville.
