Grand Hall won GOLD in the Dealer Designer Large (over 5000 square feet) Category at the ASID South Central Chapter Awards Gala. 🥇

Jennifer designed this space to respond directly to the clients need for a thoughtful balance between assembly, banquet, and learning environments, creating a highly adaptable space. The hall functions as a multipurpose environment, where spatial flexibility and infrastructure readiness all effortless transitions between focused classroom instruction, staff training, large assemblies, and formal banquets.

To support this versatility, the access floor system and furniture prioritized ease of reconfiguration. The integrated convenience power is distributed strategically across the floor plate, ensuring seamless connectivity for laptops, prestation equipment, catering needs, and event technology regardless of layout. The furniture is modular, allowing the facilities team to quickly shift between classroom, lecture, and banquet arrangements without compromising comfort or circulation.

The Big Rock Bistro Main Dining won Bronze in the Dealer Designer Single Space Category at the ASID South Central Chapter Awards Gala.🎉

Jennifer designed this space as a warm and welcoming environment that supports both everyday dining and informal gathering, while celebrating campus pride. Jennifer's design intent was to move beyond the traditional cafeteria model and instead create a vibrant, hospitality-driven experience that encourages connection, comfort, and flexibility for students, faculty, and staff alike.

Emphasis was placed on offering a diverse range of seating options to accommodate varying needs throughout the day. From communal tables that foster social interaction, to lounge-style seating for extended stays, and bar-height options suited for quick meals or individual work. Each seating type was thoughtfully curated to support both social engagement and individual use, responding to the evolving demands of the modern campus.

Arkansas Activities Association won Bronze in the Dealer Designer Large Category at the ASID South Central Chapter Excellence In Design Awards Gala. 🎉

We are excited to share the redesigned Arkansas Activities Association office! Jessica served as designer and project manager, leading the project from concept to completion. She worked closely with AAA to transform the outdated office into a modern, functional hub that supports their statewide operations.

The redesign goes beyond furniture, Jessica coordinated updates to lighting, millwork, flooring, paint, and wallcoverings to create a cohesive, energizing environment. Flexible, ergonomic workspaces, collaborative meeting areas, and open circulation paths now make teamwork and communication easier, while thoughtful lighting and finishes improve comfort and productivity.

This created a professional yet vibrant space that reflects the energy of interscholastic activities and strengthens AAA’s mission.

LRAFB: Training Academy
LaHarpe's Office Furniture Dealer Designer: Kaitlyn Smith, Allied ASID

The LRAFB Training Academy won Bronze in the Dealer Designer Large Category at the ASID South Central Chapter Awards Gala, and we are cleared for celebration! 🎉

Kaitlyn designed this trainer facility to give Airmen a focused, high-performance space to sharpen the skills needed for real-world scenarios. Classrooms are scaled for small squadrons, creating the perfect setting for collaborative briefings, flight maneuver reviews, and weekly task coordination. Nearby commander workspaces support lesson planning, operational prep, and strategic coordination—keeping everything running with precision and efficiency.

Durable materials, clean detailing, and flexible layouts keep the space mission-ready, while neutral finishes and natural light help maintain focus through long training sessions.

Every detail works together to create a highly functional training environment that supports teamwork, discipline, and readiness for whatever the mission demands.

This project didn’t just shine—it went gold. ✨

Empower Healthcare Solutions
LaHarpe's Office Furniture Dealer Designer: Kaitlyn Smith, Allied ASID

Empower Healthcare Solutions won Gold in the Dealer Designer Large Category at the ASID South Central Chapter Awards Gala. Kaitlyn also received the Rising Star Award for her work on this project, and we are over the moon about it! 💫

Kaitlyn worked closely with Empower to help relocate their expanding team. From the start, the goal was clear: create a bright, welcoming environment that supports employees returning to the office while making room for future growth.

She handled the full package: furniture, modular millwork, modular walls, paint, flooring, and even worked their existing pieces into the new floorplan for a seamless, functional flow. The design featured an open concept with private offices around the perimeter, plus all the must-haves: boardroom, conference room, training space, break room, kitchenette, touchdown stations, and collaborative zones.

The final look is modern, clean, and brand-forward, featuring rich wood tones, vinyl seating for durability + style, and subtle blues woven into the paint and carpet.

This project was all about designing for people, purpose, and long-term success—and we’re proud to say: mission accomplished. ✅

University of Arkansas Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity House
LaHarpe's Office Furniture Dealer Designer: Kaitlyn Smith, Allied ASID

Sigma Phi Epsilon won Silver in the Dealer Designer Large Category at the ASID South Central Chapter Awards Gala, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉

From day one, the vision was clear: create a modern, masculine, and home-away-from-home vibe for both current members and alumni—while still turning heads for potential new members. 👀✨

Kaitlyn incorporated warm-toned wood grains that run throughout the house, creating an inviting atmosphere. The lounge is decked out with plush, generously sized seating that’s perfect for movie nights, chapter meetings, or just hanging out. In the bedrooms, wood grain laminate furniture adds a residential feel, while the durable vinyl finishes are made to handle the wear and tear of fraternity life—without sacrificing style.

Smart design solutions maximize every inch of the space. Coffee tables with hidden ottomans roll out when extra seating’s needed, and beds can be reconfigured into bunks to accommodate growth as the chapter expands.

Every inch of this house was designed for comfort, connection, and community. It’s where future memories will be made, alumni stories will be shared, and brotherhood will thrive for years to come. 🧱

Pinnacle Mountain State Park Visitor Center

Pinnacle Visitor Center Project won Bronze in the Dealer Designer Large Category at the ASID South Central Chapter Awards Gala, and we couldn’t be more proud! 🎉

This design was all about celebrating nature — from the earthy color palette and modular furniture to the seamless indoor-outdoor flow that encourages the center’s mission of outdoor education and recreation. 🌲✨

Jessica took cues from the surrounding landscape and the architectural beauty of the building to create a space that’s not only stunning, but also functional, flexible, and ready for rugged use. Durable materials, easy-clean finishes, and smart storage make this space just as hardworking as the people who use it.

Big Wins at the ASID South Central Chapter Gala! 🏆✨

This weekend, our design team had the honor of attending the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) South Central Chapter Gala in beautiful Oxford, MS—and we didn’t come home empty-handed!

LaHarpe’s Office Furniture proudly brought home FOUR ASID Awards, a huge milestone as this was the first year that furniture dealers and designers were recognized in their own category. 🙌
