CABINET INSTALLER POSITION SUMMARY
The Cabinet Installer is responsible for proper delivery and installation of Cabinetry, Countertops, and Solid Surface.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this classification. Employees may not perform all of the duties as listed and may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below in alignment with business needs and changing business practices.
CABINET INSTALLER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:
1. Install cabinetry plumb and level according to written or verbal instruction
2. Read a tape measure
3. Be present and on time daily
4. Problem solve daily
5. Prioritize and organize materials and goods by room
6. Load and unload materials at jobsites and facilities
7. Keep a competitive pace while handling materials with care
8. Maintain professionalism at all times
9. Listen, anticipate, and adapt to team leads instructions
10. Lift between 50-100 Lbs. frequently
11. Use hand tools daily
12. Work with Lumber, Laminate, Solid Surface, and Adhesives
13. Read and understand blueprints
14. Quality over quantity mindset

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
These knowledge, skills and abilities are usually obtained by a work history of 2 years or more, equal or similar experience. Other education and experience may be considered as well.
SKILLS REQUIRED

• The ability to work with others in a problem-solving environment
• Skilled Tradesman. Excellent attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Proven track record.
• Safety practices a must and priority with OSHA standards
• Experience with manufacturing of cabinets
• Organized, detail and quality oriented. Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to be certified in construction equipment, Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings
• Ability to work in physically demanding jobs, including standing, kneeling, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds) and working at varying heights
• Ability to pass any site required drug testing and criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Strong technical/mechanical construction practices
• Timely and accurate completion of essential responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills and focus on customer satisfaction.
• Flexible and willing to continue personal skill development and cross training in other assigned areas
• Active involvement in achieving deadlines and corporate goals
• Able to work in various environmental conditions, including; various temperatures and varying noise levels.
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
