Thursday, February 6 is our Woodworking club meeting at 6:30 PM at DCW Hardwoods . All are welcome. We will have a new Sharpening Service that will be there to speak!
if you have any knives, saw blades, router bits, chisels, planer blades or anything that needs sharpening he will be accepting them at the meeting.
If any of you have interest in building a Woodworking bench, please come with questions and an idea of what you would like to make. We will be assisting with construction and purchasing of materials.
As usual, we encourage you to bring projects that you have made to show off and teach others.

Happy New Year!
We are considering a new option for our customers in the year going forward and turning DCW into a community woodshop!
We will still do our current offerings.

A Community Woodshop is a shared woodshop offering Memberships and Classes - like a fitness club. Members are expected to work safety and independently. If you are not there yet, we suggest taking a few classes with us first.

Memberships
The different levels of memberships that will be based on shop time allotted per a given month.
members will have access to our professional grade equipment and space needed to create woodworking projects. All members will be required to take a Safety Orientation prior to becoming a member.

All members will be expected to work independently and safely. Unless a learning package is purchased.
Before becoming a member you should have completed a few projects. If you're not quite there yet, we suggest getting a learning package.

We are pleased to announce a group build for the Woodworking Community and our monthly Woodworking Club.

Featuring the Traditional Woodworking Workbench.

A sturdy workbench is a fundamental component of any woodshop, serving as the foundation for all projects. It reflects the craftsmanship and expertise of its creator. The construction of one’s own workbench has long been regarded as a rite of passage and a significant milestone for woodworkers. A well-constructed woodworking bench provides a flat, safe workspace that safeguards your projects, offers a variety of methods for securing materials, and ensures stability while working, making it an indispensable tool in any workshop.

To assist with any challenges that may arise during these projects, we will be offering complimentary in-person classes. Additionally, for those who may lack the necessary equipment, we will provide millwork and flattening services at a discounted rate of half price for participants.

Please be aware that orders for lumber and vise packages should be placed by February 1, 2025.

For further details, please do not hesitate to comment or call. Pricing for packages will vary based on the selected bench size, style, and hardware.
