Linden Councilor Elizabeth Armstrong resigned from her position on the Linden City Council on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at around 4 p.m. just hours before the ethics ordinance violation hearing regarding her accusations claiming two city employees assaulted her.

The council voted to approve a resolution that states that Armstrong violated the city’s code of ethics and that she is publicly reprimanded and censured.
