Spotted Fawn Farm is sad to announce the first of our babies has arrived. We're sad because this another baby needlessly kidnapped from its mother because a well meaning human found him alone. Once again, deer mothers leave their babies ALL DAY. They check in on them but leave them in places people find wrong, like under cars, trampolines, porches or backyards. Sometimes they're near a road. If you find a fawn and it is not walking and crying (at the same time), it's FINE. If it is on a road, move it to the side and the mom will find it. Never ever feed a fawn or any animal cow's milk. If you find an injured fawn call a licensed rehabber by locating the closest one to you on the DNR website. Please share so everyone will understand.
That said, what a lil' sweetie.
