We don’t toot our horn much but this job shows something we did. The customer had a nook area they wanted shelves and drawers. We made the maple and glass doors and maple drawers. Then the customer’s carpenter took these components and finished it (stain and assembly) into the space.

When you ask for drawers to be built let us know what you may store in them. In this case she has a collection of cast iron cookware so we used the heavy duty slides up to 150lbs!

We were asked to make a frame for this stained glass piece. The customers were very pleased with it.

This lovely Victorian home had some of its architectural elements made by St. John's and now it is ready for another century! The balusters, gingerbread at top and the lattice around porch are cut out of 4x8 sheets of Extira mdf - especially made for exterior use. No shrinking or expansion and holds paint really well.

Another Treadle sewing machine repurposed into a lovely sofa table with live walnut edges for tops.
Incorporated the 2 sewing machine sides and also the traddle of the old treadle machines in back on top of lower shelf. Gave it support and interest. Finished with a early American Minwax stain with a top coat.

NEW Hand-Made Heirloom Craft/Collection/Chemistry Storage Boxes

Collectors, scrapbook enthusiasts, crafters, quilters, chemists, salespeople, check out these wooden boxes!

Custom made in our woodworking shop for a toy & science store that went out of business. This hand-crafted box has many drawers with glass fronts to keep everything secure.

1/2" Baltic Birch with a 1/4" Baltic Birch inset. 16" wide and 12" deep and 20 inches tall with 4 mahogany inlay hour glasses on each end of the box. When the box is open it measures 32" wide, 6" deep and 20" tall. The box has 2 Brass Chest handles for easy carrying and two 2" Brass hinges that compliment the outside of the box. The inside of the box has 3 drawers with 2 seeded pieces of glass in each drawer for easy visibility. There are 5 removable shelves approximately 5 1/2" wide and 15" long. Chemicals shown in one photo are not included. Several boxes are available. Bulk discounts available. Call us and let us know if you are interested.
