Keepsake is a full service licensed estate sale business. As the owner of Keepsake, it is my desire to help the public understand what all is involved in having a sale. Many people believe they need to have fine antiques, artwork, or name brand collectibles in china, pottery, and top of the line furnishings, so they often feel apprehensive about having a professional company into their homes to co
nduct a sale. This page is about the truth to that myth. The majority of homes, are the homes our parent's, grandparent's and ourselves live in, or inherited. It is my desire to share behind the scene's activity, such as sorting items, cleaning, tagging, and the staging process. Most people come to my sales, impressed with what they see, and many ask us how we accomplished it, or believe it looked like that when it was occupied. What they did not see before the doors open on the posted day of the sale, is the chaos, and often clutter, that we have the privilege to be invited into. It is what makes us happy to roll up our sleeves and dig in. What may seem like mayhem to the client, is a challenge to us that we relish in. If the home is neat as a pin, when we arrive, it will not be when we start the process, of removing items from cabinet's, closet's, attic's, storage building's, outbuildings and so on. As I tell each client, there is a method to our madness, and it all comes together in the end with style, and a well staged arena for all their item's, from the lowest to the highest in size and price. I also want the public to feel comfortable with a working crew handling their possessions, and being in their loved one, or their own home. I am hoping that this face book page will be a forum for question's of all kinds. I will be posting pictures of items that have sold, and to be sold, and hope to help the general public in any information they may have concerning a puzzling item that they may post. I have a professional website that explains what is offered, by my company, and general information about us. But I want a site where I can also have fun with the adventures of having a sale, and the people we meet. It is wonderful to be in a business you love, and is appreciated. Estate Sales are for everybody, that enjoys the adventure of the hunt, finding a bargain, and having the chance to shop in a unique setting, that is different from a flea market, an auction, yard sale, or antique or second hand store. It is an opportunity for a seller to reach a broad network, be advertised, have their items appraised, and displayed, with the outcome of netting more revenue than they had thought possible.
