This is a Channel Back. It’s one of my favorite chairs, but also one of the most challenging to reupholster.

Imagine-tubes of fabric, all sewn down on a chair back, then needing to be perfectly “stuffed” & formed, put back in place & attached to the chair.

I’ve watched Dave do this so many times using a hard plastic tube (fashioned by him), filled with cotton & shoved into the fabric “tunnels”. It’s no wonder we call Dave (Popeye)!

Yet, he eats no Spinach whatsoever!

We LOVE buttons! Pressed-Tufted or otherwise! Buttons just make things POP!!
