Words just can’t describe the hole that death leaves in our heart. It has such a powerful sting that seems to never go away. Jackie Glover and his family need prayer right now. They’re hurting. We’re hurting for them. Seth was such a fine young man. Join us in lifting them in prayer through this impossible time.

Patrick “Seth” Glover, age 23, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Jean Waddle Care Center.
Seth was born on September 15, 2001 in Corbin, Kentucky. He was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed tinkering with cars, going to car shows and his pride and joy was his 2001 Chevy Camaro. He enjoyed fishing, watching ball games in the fall, especially Tennessee with his dad and he was very active in church. He was a 2020 Somerset Christian School graduate and a Somerset Community College graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineer.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Jackie and Jennifer Glover, paternal grandmother, Barbara Hibbard of Barbourville, Ky; maternal grandparents: Gary and Cindy Callihan of Barbourville, Ky; and half-sister, Emily Wilson of London, Ky; paternal aunt, Nicole Frederick of Barbourville, Ky; maternal uncle, Todd Callihan of London, Ky; maternal cousins: Macayla Callihan, Maycee Callihan, Nathan Callihan, Noah Callihan all of London, Ky; along with a paternal hosts of aunts and uncles. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5-8pm at Denham Street Baptist Church.
Visitation will continue on Friday morning, February 28, 2025 from 11am-1pm at the church with a funeral service to begin at 1pm with Pastor Jeff Griffith, Bro. Moses Frasure, and Bro. David Muse officiating. Burial will follow in Acorn Cemetery.

If you haven't taken time to stroll down Christmas Tree Alley yet it is well worth the trip! To see the time, effort, and creativity folks have put into their trees is impressive! Our tree is... well... different... The ornaments on the tree are from folks we do continuous business with and hold very near and dear to our hearts. Thank you Lake Cumberland Life and Monticello-Wayne County Chamber of Commerce for doing this each year. It really does bring joy to walk through or even drive by all of those Christmas trees!

The Wayne County Middle School Boys Basketball Team proudly presents their 2024-2025 basketball team schedule! Since October 15th, these players have been putting in the work at practice to get prepared for this season.

This should be a fantastic year for all three grades. 6th Grade has many young talented players coming in, 7th Grade will pick up where they left off last season (plus a few added fresh faces to the lineup 😉), and 8th Grade comes in with their eye on one goal; avenging last years heartbreaking loss at the KBC State Championship in the Final Four and finishing the job this season!

Head Coach Matthew Rice, Assistant Coach Andy Sloan, Assistant Coach Chandler Humble, Team Manager Clay Upchurch, and all of the players on the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade teams are ready! Are you?

We'll see you at the games!
