Table for sale - $375

Hey all - its Wes here - hope yall been doing good and keeping these young men busy building your dreams and ideas -

Tristan was kind enough to let me post this table for sale on the farmhouse page - This little orphan table is the last one I built in the shop and it’s looking for a new home. I lowered the price today to help it find a new home.

Built with gorgeous live edge black cherry slab for the top and cherry accents to finish the base - it also has one of a kind antique cast iron bases that I believe were desks at one point “due to the way they were angled” I finished it with an aged barrel stain and 5 coats of polyurethane- I used this stain on cherry top for Mitch and Brenna’s bar top and fell in love with the color on this cherry lumber

It measures 50” long x 18” deep x 31” tall - it could be used for almost anything - entry table, sofa table, bar table, small beautiful little apartment sized dining table or an accent piece in any room - it truly is a one of a kind and this little Orphan wants to find a home -

Text me at 314-550-4416 if anyone has a spot for this little table

As always God Bless y’all

Well it’s official

I am happy to announce that Farmhouse Tables and more will be handed over to new owners tonight - Tristan along with his brother Caleb will be taking over operations as of today. They have exciting plans to grow Farmhouse tables to new heights beyond what I was capable of, all while continuing to build heirloom quality pieces for you just as I had over the years.

Tristan and Caleb are in a way a product of this shop and in a small way I like to think I helped them start their first shop “Oak Valley Live Edge” Tristan is undertaking this in a large way. He has plans to significantly grow Farmhouse tables and Oak Valley and combine both under one roof. But I will let him tell you his plans at a later date. The short term plan is to use my shop for their Famhouse builds when needed and their shop for their Oak Valley Live Edge builds. I would lend a hand on the farmhouse builds and be available to them when and if needed. This is a good thing for Farmhouse as it needed new life and energy breathed into it

I can’t tell you all how much I loved building everything you asked me to build over the past 8 years - at last count it was over 900 pieces completed and if anyone asked which was my favorite my answer was always “all of them” this journey started as a fun “little” hobby for me and quickly grew to being a “little 🤪” more than I dreamed of. I want to thank you all so much for the opportunity, projects and the friendships we built over the years.

I am very excited and happy that Tristan and Caleb stepped forward and wanted to see Farmhouse continue grow and not wither away. They are both good friends and talented and impressive young men. I hope you will flood them with orders and requests just as you did me. Trust me they want you to challenge them.

So as I sign off here for the final time. Thank you all so much for your trust, patronage and kindness and for dropping in on me so often over the last 8 years.

And as always -
God bless y’all -

SOLD - thank you all for your interest and thanks to Eric for buying the kiln

Kiln for sale

Would any other shop that watches our page be interested in purchasing my homemade wood kiln - it is 4’x4’x16’ runs off 220volt includes heaters fans and dehumidifier- I can get about 800 bf to one load - works great asking $400 for it - I have used it for about 6 years and it does a good job-

I added some pictures of the kiln for those that were asking for them - it runs off 220 volt breaker - has 2 heaters inside - a furnace fan - and a dehumidifier- also includes a couple heat lamps for adding more heat if needed - but I rarely used them - the outside dimensions of the box are 16’ long x 4’ wide x 4’ tall - insulated with 4” of insulation on all 4 sides and then wrapped in plastic - includes rollers and cart for loading and stacking outside the kiln on the cart then just rolling it in place and placing the doors when ready - will include all the stickers as well for stacking the kiln and letting air flow through your stack as your drying - if you have any questions please feel free to call 314-550-4416 - if you want to look at it I can explain how it works when your here as well - thanks for your interest

Table for sale - $575.00 - just completed -

Working on some unfinished projects in the shop - I had started a little entry table years ago - patterned after a build I saw on Etsy selling for $1200.00 - but I got busy and it got set in a corner of the shop forgotten and used as a catch all for years

Now this beautiful little orphan got its time and has finally been completed- she is finished with a gorgeous live edge black cherry slab for the top and cherry accents to finish the base - it also has one of a kind antique cast iron bases that I believe were desks at one point “due to the way they were angled” I finished it with an aged barrel stain and 5 coats of polyurethane- I used this stain on cherry for Mitch and Brenna’s bar top and fell in love with the color on this cherry lumber

I ask you
HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE HANDMADE BARNWOOD FURNITURE?

Grandson #2 is in the shop learning to how to build some benches for his mom to add to their family table - couple more coats of poly and he will have them all done - as always - thank you for dropping in and God Bless ya -

On a side note - the bench tops are made from Sassafras barnwood - a very pretty hardwood but when your cutting it or sanding it the whole shop smells like menthol or Vicks - I knew the time would come when my shop smelled like bengay or icyhot - lol - 🤪😁😉
