Light the Festive Candles

Light the first of eight tonight—
the farthest candle to the right.

Light the first and second, too,
when tomorrow's day is through.

Then light three, and then light four—
every dusk one candle more

Till all eight burn bright and high,
honoring a day gone by

When the Temple was restored,
rescued from the Syrian lord,

And an eight-day feast proclaimed—
The Festival of Lights—well named

To celebrate the joyous day
when we regained the right to pray
to our one God in our own way.

The light that filters into this room gives these gray solid wood furniture pieces such a remarkable glow!

We wanted to highlight that glow with light blues and browns, two colors that give a warm and calming feeling to a room. Add a fluffy brown throw at the end of the bed and this is easily a room that someone can relax in.

🐰And we couldn't help but add some whimsical items, such as the bunnies, one curious and the other mischievous!

On one mystic, magic night,
Jack O Lanterns glowing bright,
kids with bags of candy sweet,
roam door to door and street to street,
all dressed up for trick or treat!

Wizards with wands, pirates with hooks,
monsters and clowns with spooky looks,
kings and queens with capes and crowns,
a princess in her royal gown,
witches with warts and fairies with wings
movies stars with sparkling rings,
vampires with fangs that bite,
host that boo all dressed in white.

Imaginations taken flight,
on that one mystic, magic night.

Oh, the fun of Halloween,
be young or old or in between!

Small spaces are fun to work with because you can say so much with accent pieces!

🖼️ Picture it: This room is home to a traveler. The compass above the desk is their way of finding home again, but the desk gives them the opportunity to write about their adventures and the globe helps them to plan the next one. Is this an adventurer of the sea? We believe so, with the deep dark blue chair and sea colored decor items.

🌊 After a long day of voyaging, the traveler sits down in an oversized chair, with a throw to warm themselves with. After all, the high seas can be chilly!

✌️That's two Home Staging jobs in one week! We've been busy, busy, busy helping people sell their houses and new owners find their homes!

This beauty is at 59 Biscayne Street in Leominster. When we first walked in, our thought was "cozy". And this room exemplifies that with lots of warm colors (cream and blue/grays) and textured pillows and throws.

The cream coffee table is unique with its basket drawers and oversized k***s. Add on some gold decor items (🍍pineapple is the international symbol for hospitality!) and you're ready to open your doors for entertaining or enjoy the calm and relaxing home you've created.

If there's one thing we love, it's details! And this room is full of them! From the textures on the bed to the k***s on the nightstand and dresser, to the home decor items and picture on the wall, there's a beautiful combination of elegance and class in this room.

We brought a bit of classic elegance into this room with the soft pastel pink tones by sprinkling a bit of it throughout the room, from the nightstand and pillow to the decor items on the dresser. The trick here is to go subtle and mix with anchoring colors, like white, black and gray.

Think about your kitchen 🤔

🍽️ Is it where everyone congregates? Most likely, it's the room that people see the most often. That's why it should be matching your style!

We went elegant here, with black and white, to match the appliances and cabinets. The chairs have a dark color to them and unique lines with a keyhole design to the back of them. The table, made of solid wood, is circular and painted a very light gray.
