These are a few before and after pictures of one of my most FAVORITE projects! I love pantries, but the a combination of acrylic containers and lazy susans, along with hyacinth baskets and beautiful labeling, may this pantry not only functional but beautiful.

If you are looking for new flooring this year, I highly recommend Brian Fontaine! My carpet looks amazing, my floors look amazing, and so do my stairs! His crew was wonderful to work with.

I was asked this week about organizational habits.. Thanks Kirtley! Here are seven habits to keep you organized.

1. Keep all finances on an app. I use Every Dollar from Dave Ramsey, but I know there are several. Before you leave the parking lot, whenever there is a monetary transaction, put it immediately into the app. The receipt is discarded. No paper mess!

2. Whenever you leave the house for a period of time load all machines. By this I mean, take a few minutes to load and start the laundry, the dryer, the dishwasher, or the crockpot/instant pot. Make your house work for you. It saves so much time to have this done when you get home.

3. When you get the mail, take a moment to discard all junk mail in the recycling bin before it ever comes into the house.

4. Clean and wipe down the refrigerator and freezer before you leave to go grocery shopping. This saves so much time in deep cleaning it, because you've been cleaning it all along.

5. When going upstairs or downstairs, take that few extra seconds to take something with you and put it away. The cup from upstairs that needs to go down to the kitchen. The book that needs to go back upstairs to the office, etc.

6. Fill up and empty the trash first thing in the morning.

7. Take time time to read your scriptures, meditate, pray. Even organization matters to God or he wouldn't have asked for a "house of order."
