This is my first appointment. I feel blessed that God provided me not only with work, but the customer had a huge barn to work in, and a fan to help keep me as cool as one can be when it's feels like 115 outside. I didn't work on the atv. The customer just used it to show me around his 15 acers, and where the neighbors barn is so I could move on to their stuff when I'm done here. Man I love what I do. I love meeting new people. I love making customers happy. I just love life.

As much of the U.S. experiences what might be “its hottest summer ever,” the Farmers’ Almanac is predicting another extreme season — winter.

While “frigid temperatures should flow into many areas nationwide,” the long-running publication predicts it will be coldest in Midwestern states, including Kansas and Missouri, and the North Central region.

“This winter will be filled (with) plenty of shaking, shivering, and shoveling,” Farmers’ Almanac said in its extended 2022-2023 winter weather forecast released this month.

The end of the mowing season is slowly approaching, so here a few tips to keep you going hassle-free next year.

* Fuel- One of the most important. Fuel does not last a year, just under. Every moment after that, it starts to become gummed up, causing it to mess up your fuel tank, fuel lines and carburator. So we recomend you let the mower run until it dies. Then store it for the winter.

* Tune up- An end of season tune up is a great way to beat the spring rush of next year. Put fresh gas in it next year knowing it's ready to go trouble free.

* Gas Can- get rid of anything left in the can by using it in your car, or someone's car who can.

Remeber to do this with any gas equipment not being used over the winter.
