When a local business was struggling to get a small but critical part manufactured on time, it was putting pressure on their entire operation.

To celebrate the Daytona 500 over the weekend, I wanted to share a unique project we were proud to be part of last year.

Our friends at Astro Pak were tasked with cleaning the decorative panels on the outside of the building. There were thousands of panels that needed processed, so efficiency was everything.

They needed a way to dip as many panels as possible into their cleaning tanks at one time and just as important, keep production moving while racks were being cleaned.

The solution, a 24’ long rack with an open side design that allowed 8 panels to be loaded and unloaded quickly and safely. We built multiple racks so one could be in the tank while others were being loaded and unloaded, keeping the workflow continuous.

With these racks in place, they were able to streamline the process and stay on schedule.

Always grateful for customers who bring us challenges and trust us to build the solution.
