Today we are asking our community to rally around one of our own.
One of our valued team members, Dave and his family recently received incredibly difficult news. His wife has been diagnosed with cancer and they are now beginning a long and challenging road of treatments and care.
We truly believe our employees are family. Seeing one of our own walk through something like this is heartbreaking, and we want them to know they have an entire community standing beside them.
We are sharing the post below from S&S Recycling to help spread the word and support their family during this time. If you are able, please consider helping, sharing the post, or keeping them in your thoughts and prayers.
Our community has always shown up in big ways when someone is in need, and we know that support will mean the world to their family.
Thank you for helping us lift them up during this difficult time. ❤️

Selena was recently diagnosed with Stage 3B cervical cancer. Over the past few weeks she has become very sick and is currently unable to work. She will soon begin radiation and chemotherapy treatments as she starts this difficult fight.
Her husband David will also be missing work so he can help care for her and get her to appointments. At this time, Selena does not have insurance, and as many know, the cost of cancer treatments, medications, and travel for appointments can quickly become overwhelming.
We are asking our community to come together and help support Selena and her family during this time.
There will be donation jars at S&S Recycling and S&S U Pull It for anyone who would like to help.
I will also be sharing a GoFundMe for Selena.
Another option is to make a monetary donation at Mid Missouri Bank. We have already spoken with them and the account is set up. All you need to do is say the donation is for Selena Brown.
Any amount, big or small, will be deeply appreciated.
Most importantly, we ask that you please keep Selena lifted up in your prayers as she begins this journey. Faith, love, and support mean more than words can express during times like these.
Thank you all for coming together to support her.
