Harold's Fence Board Furniture

Well...we just built "bench" number 1002. Here are a few pics of what we've been doing. My Bride keeps sending me out to the shop and goes with me to supervise deliveries. So I guess we will shoot for 1500 or so!

Most of the time, the fun requests seem to come from our repeat customers like Kathleen in Enumclaw, Arlene in Toledo and Debbie in Samamish. However, we often get surprises from new customers like Moses in Bonnie Lake or Kelly from San Juan. We never know what comes tomorrow or what new use there might be for fence board furniture.

Here are some samples of furniture we delivered in the last few weeks. We've now built 750 major pieces since we started bringing old fences home. As usual, the best ideas and coolest designs come from my customers... Joan's corner shelf, Kathleen's feed room cabinets, Abby's potting bench and more.

Linda has locked me out of the shop for a bit while I get used to my bionic hip. If I behave, I might be back to building in late July.

We just delivered a very cool large cabinet to Arlene that is one of my favorite pieces...

It was inspired in part by the cabinet we made for Caroline in the spring (she posted it here).

The best ideas come from my customers...

We will be out at Donida Farm Equestrian Center for their festival this weekend. We will be selling our benches and watching Kathleen ride.
We also are taking along a new bench that will be a part of the auction and dinner Saturday night. Should be a lot of fun.
