Somewhere in the clean up of the barn for the end of the season, I discarded the name and number of a new customer. I have now completed the work after a fair bit of delay and it’s ready for pickup. After terrible July weather and a busy August with the grandchildren, I am back to working on several customers' chairs and other furniture. Thought I'd show a completed set of porch rockers and other things I am working on.

The 2021 honey harvest is now bottles and ready to go. Pure, raw honey from our backyard apiary that enjoys access to Lakeville's wetlands, fields, and farms.

2020 Honey Harvest available now! We are bottling up beautiful and tasty, pure raw honey from our bees as I write this post. We have had a very good season despite the very dry and hot conditions but we have sold out every year so far and our repeat customers are stocking up for winter already. Stop by pretty much anytime between 9 am and 9 pm. I will be happy to show you the hives if you are interested.

In my spare time, I have been learning how to make baskets from all the grape vines and wisteria we have around the property.

2019 Honey Harvest Completed.

We have bottled up most (but not all) of this year's harvest. Two pound bottles are available now along with the 1lb and 8oz bottles. We have only one or two of bottles with honey comb in the bottle in stock. The other honeycomb/honey combinations requested oby several customers have been purchased for this season.

Late start this year but we have bottled up some early honey. This is the Spring honey with lots of the local pollen. Only about 10 pounds of it left at the moment. Will harvest more honey at the end of July probably, if the weather is staying hot and sunny.

The weather hasn't been cooperating, with a mixture of warm and pretty dreary cold days, but I have started to accept some new projects. Stop by any time the barn door is open if you'd like to discuss a project. I will really try to remember to post some pictures of the project this year.

Actually warm enough to work on some furniture in the shop yesterday....things are looking up. The basket weaving photos were just posted to show the results of an experiment to see if I could teach myself how to make a couple types of baskets. I will really try this year to post more pictures of the restoration and repair work ... and my apairy as well.
