L. Post Rustics We are a family of award winning artisans from Ausable Forks in the Adirondack mountains. L. Larry and Ryan build and interpret the designs.

Post Rustics--Who we are:
Rustic art furniture makers from Au Sable Forks, NY. Our business is comprised of Larry and Joann Post, Jillian Post (daughter) and Ryan Post (son). Joann designs the furniture, applies details and finishes including faux bois and oil paintings. Jillian is the resident wood carver and has brought her unique talents and expertise to the family business. Together, we create one of a kind commissioned furniture for homes, lodges and camps throughout the US and Canada.

These exquisite tables lived in an iconic great camp on Lake Placid. The original oil paintings are protected under glass and the since passed artist, Veronica Nemethy created the Adirondack scenes. She came from a talented family of artists whose father, Albert Nemethy was the source of the art gene for his children. These rare and beautiful tables are now available at our store & gallery.

This was a challenging project for Jillian and Ryan. It took many months. The customer had a few requests, the map of their property, the shape of the table, and the dimensions. The rest was up to Ryan and Jillian. The scenes on the top of the table aren’t depicted well in these photos each section of the top are carved scenes of different fauna and flora of the Adirondack park. We are happy to get this delivered safely. Thank you Cascade builders for help with delivery.

The “After Six” hutch. We work on pieces for our Lake Placid store & gallery when the day hours are spent on commissions. Its an all consuming business. Good thing we love creating. Its a double edged sword, though, we appreciate the sales but opine the loss of the store pieces when they sell. The “hole” must be filled with another.
