We delivered cool treats to the hospice nursing staff from Harbor Hospice, Alleigence Hospice, Heart of Hospice, St. Joseph's Hospice and Lamm Hospice this week, with the help of Red River Bank's ice cream truck. Thank you to Red River for donating the ice cream. We appreciate the excellent care these hospice agencies provide to the families we serve across Southwest Louisiana.

As our nation marks 250 years of independence, we honor the legacy of those who came before us and celebrate the memories we continue to make together. Happy Independence Day, and God bless America!

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers in our community. We know this holiday can be tough when your father has passed away. But you can still honor him on this day. Here are four ways to remember your dad, and make getting through Father’s Day a little easier:
1. Honor him by doing an activity you both enjoyed doing together such as fishing or cooking.
2. Remember him by sharing your favorite memories with your friends and family.
3. Write him a letter letting him know how you are coping and how much you miss him.
4. Visit your dad’s resting place and talk with him as if he were still alive.
Whatever you decide, we hope you find peace in celebrating your dad’s life.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂, 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀!
For every hand held, every tear comforted, and every family supported — we celebrate and appreciate our hospice nurses not only during this Nurses Week, but always.
We were able to provide lunch this week for the nursing staff at Allegiance Hospice, Inpatient Harbor Hospice, Outpatient Harbor Hospice and St. Joseph Hospice.
