Seeing that the postal service is upping their prices again... I googled stamps and found a site that offers discounted pricing on them.

I just bought 500 stamps for $95. That comes out to about $0.19 ea

Super proud of this one. From log to board every step was done by me.
I milled the log, dried it, flattened it, dried it the rest of the way in my over, and then will finish it tomorrow.

Working on a 60x33...here are 3 stripes I'm working on. Left to right

Initial burn
First burnish to get the soot off
Second burnish to get down to the spring wood

And there will be one more burnish afterwards to clean it up

From the first burn to the time it's painted each stripe gets about 30 minutes of attention.
