Centennial Woodworking is seeking an experienced full-time Kitchen Designer!! We manufacture our cabinetry with high-quality materials for a long lasting product. We are currently located in Laingsburg but our business is expanding to a new facility in Perry this winter. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with at least 1 year of kitchen design experience to join our custom cabinet business.

*Experience with 20/20, Mozaik or other cabinet software is preferred
*Knowledge of kitchen and bath design and measuring skills
*Ability to work with clients, builders and maintain a high level of projects simultaneously and multi-task
*Strong communication skills via phone, text and email; as well as meeting with cliens in person at their home and our showroom
*Maintain a positive attitude and stay organized under pressure
*Sales oriented and ability to think outside the box
*We offer medical, vacation, sick time and a Simple IRA
*Hours normally are 8-5 with some evenins by appt and special events
*Wage by experience: $50,000-$60,000

This cherry kitchen was beautiful before the transformation. Our client in Okemos wanted to update their kitchen and provided all the demo work, as well as added another opening on the right side of the range. We incorporated many custom features, including decorative columns, convenient flip-up doors, and specialized bakeware inserts. We also extended the cabinetry to the ceiling for a more grand aesthetic and straightened the island to create a significantly better flow throughout the space. The stunning Everleigh quartz countertop was expertly provided by our partners at Blasius Countertops.

Our clients built a beautiful new home in Dewitt. Their main goal was to have it completed before a little one was due, which they did. With a growing family a large island is a great feature. We are making progress on our new facility!! June and July have been busy months of clearing dirt, leveling, planning meetings, and construction. The concrete should go in the next few weeks. After the interior walls are put up, we'll start getting into the nitty-gritty of cabinet displays. If your travels bring you through Perry, the new shop is located on Lansing Rd, about 1/4 mile east of Burger King on the north side.
