There's nothing like delivering your best work to good friends! This table will be a focal point for these awesome clients to have great dinners with friends, share beers after a long day, laugh together, cry together, and welcome warmth into their home over a good meal. A table is more than a table, and it's why I love building furniture for amazing people like this.

Sometimes adventure happens in the gym. I don't post a lot about my fitness publicly because sometimes that can seem like I'm in competition with all of you, which I'm definitely not! However, I wanted to share this today. Just ran my fastest mile in a long time as part of a 3 mile run! 7:03, 23:27 total! Then did 100 wave offs. That completed the Thursday workout for Week 6 of SEALfit. I felt like quitting about 1.5 miles in and even stopped to catch my breath but I knew I'd have to own up to that. It's worth it to persevere when life gets tough and push through the pain to the victory on the other side. John Eldredge says that adventure requires something of us and makes us prove to ourselves that we have what it takes. Will you join me in this adventure today?

My favorite adventurer is Theodore Roosevelt. Growing up as an asthmatic kid, he didn't let that stop him from pursuing his passion for living life to its fullest and inspiring others to do the same. Bully!
