Thank you Lafayette for all your support over the last few years! Velo Wrench gave both of us the ability to work flexible schedules while going back to school. We both graduated in May and Troy has accepted a position as a full time welder/fabricator and I have accepted a position as a psychiatric nurse. So Velo Wrench is closing its doors but we are excited to start a new chapter in our lives! And if you’re in need of bike repairs please go see our friends at 🙂

Do you, or someone you know, want to get into cycling, but have obstacles standing in your way? Consider looking into the WRCC Ride Scholarship! Applications are OPEN.

The WRCC Ride Scholarship is for someone who:

☑️ Identifies as woman, transgender, gender nonconforming, or non-binary

☑️ or someone who is gender fluid transgressive or transitioning

☑️ Is 18-years or older

Priority will be given to those who:

☑️ Are a racial or ethnic minority

☑️ Has financial needs that inhibit the pursuit of their cycling dreams

☑️ Who does not own a bike or does not own a bike that meets their cycling needs

☑️ And resides in the Greater Lafayette area, or in Indiana and can attend WRCC events.

The scholarship will provide to the recipient:

☑️a new or a lightly-used commuter, mountain, or road-style bicycle

☑️One-year membership to the Wabash River Cycling Club (WRCC)

☑️ And safety equipment, including a helmet, flat kit, floor pump and water bottles
