Can't believe I forgot to post this...

So, in addition to furniture I also make "Home Decor" functional Art pieces. I havent done one in awhile, but this one here was one of the more prevalent pieces of Functional Art Decor I'm capable of doing.

My client had a large cavity in her bathroom and wanted a shelf insert to fill the space. The wood is. Mostly White oak pieces except for the door, which is a salvaged cabinet door, wood species unknown. Probably pine.

It's anchored in place using a threaded insert on either side, which is something you hammer/screw into one wood piece then feed a bolt through another wood piece and then you screw it til it's locked in place. Can easily be removed just in case there's a need to , or if she moves & wants to take it with her.

Restored a Cast Iron/Wooden Garden Bench. Replaced old wood w/ Cypress. Love it.
