When I was first starting out, my boss made some covers for a Chevy truck bench and I installed them. They fit like absolute garbage. I mistakenly told him they don’t fit. He said, “If you can’t make them fit you have no business working here”. Ultimately he was right, but now that I’m self employed I won’t install kits. I like making seat covers and I don’t want to install someone else’s work. I know when I make them that they will fit and I’m proud of my work. I don’t care if the kit fits or doesn’t fit. I can’t be proud of that either way. Not my work. This is my work.
