I wanted to let everyone know I made a switch to a new company and hope you'll follow me to the new page The Creative Flamingo, Lauren Kelly, Chalk Couture Independent Designer I will be archiving this page. Contact me if you have any questions!

Welcome to my new page! I decided to go on a new adventure! Come join me! You won't be disappointed!

If you know me, you know I've been with another craft company for almost 10 years. Chalk Couture is a new company (only open 2 years). I was feeling like I was in a rut...until I saw someone sharing CC and I knew what I needed to do. I made the switch!

I love the other company I was with and plan to be a customer (if you need a new consultant contact me) but I think Chalk Couture is a better fit for me.

We can make signs, decorate pillows, t-shirts, bibs, flower pots, cans, glass, cabinets...pretty much everything...using chalk paste or inks. What's great is you can change some of the items to fit the season or make it permanent. I can't wait to share Chalk Couture and all the fun, fabulous crafty DIY projects we'll be making.

I'm trying to reach a goal with your help...so this deal is only good until the end of the day tomorrow (Saturday, 3/30).

Anyone who puts in an order of at least $25 (not including tax or s/h) on my website will receive this note pad kit. It will have everything stamped and cut...you'll just need to use adhesive to put it together and markers or pencils to color in the flowers...it will even have the note pad!

At the beginning of January I went to consultant camp (a bunch of local consultants get together for the day...we all make kits...which we put together at the event). It's a lot of fun and we make really cute projects. I'm going to be sharing some over the next week or so...so make sure to come visit me to see what we made.

Today I'm sharing a card (Jen Rubio made the kit for us). I love butterflies!

Sharing another card I made over the weekend using "Feels like home" paper (x7243b) and "Heartful Thank You" stamp set (a1226). I stamped on Sugarplum cardstock (x5989)...CTMH's color of the year. I also added So Much Happy Puffy Stickers (z4254) to give the a little extra pop of color.

I love to make Thank You cards to keep on hand. I end up using them a lot. Which type of card do you use a lot?

Sharing a card I made using "Feels like home" paper (x7243b) and (D1821) Feels like home Scrapbooking stamp set. I fussy cut the stamp out and used my Shinhan markers on it. I may use the for Valentine's Day.

California Labradors, Retrievers & More Rescue is a really good local rescue that my daughter and I have in the past helped (had a foster for a few days but Finny wasn't willing to share his family with another dog and we've helped at adoption events).

If you are able to help these mama doggies you can send money directly (see link in their post)...let me know you did, and I will send you some happy mail (as a thank you!). :) And, if you order from my website between now and the end of March I will donate my commission to the rescue. They do some amazing work every day!

Remember the litter that rescuers found floating in the drainage ditch? Today, this beautiful mama and her babies are all cozy and warm in a foster home.
