There is a new page on Facebook for owners in Deerfield Resort called Deerfield Resort Property Owners. You can comment, answer or ask questions in a respectful attitude without being attacked. If you or someone you know own property there, please join. It seems to be a non biased group so I’m hoping voices will be heard. I will also post any issues that seem to pop up at the storage in Deerfield since I as well as my grand daughter are blocked from the one managed by the resort. Thank you Mike Ramsey and Steve Dehler for opening an avenue of good communication.

Board of Director Election Results

THE FIRST BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTION RESULTS ARE IN CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEW BOARD

The Terms of the New Board of Directors are:
3-year terms: Scott Fields, Greg Hessler, Carol Lyons
2-year terms: Dan Hopkins, Nelson Lare, Car Schlotman III
1-year term: Ron Dubin, Walter Duvall, Mike Rees

Congratulations to all members of the new Board of Directors, and “Thank You” to all of the 18 candidates who chose to offer their service as Board Members!

This election of the Deerfield Resort Homeowners Association Board of Directors is an accomplishment worthy of recognition. This is our opportunity to move forward as a community in what will be something positive and productive!
Good things take time, effort and dedication.

Many of the new Board Members recognized the need for addressing the problems with the roads, improving security and safety, building a reserve fund, improving communications with the property owners, providing transparency and fiscal responsibility and bringing the community together through activities, etc. Supporting their efforts to make improvements in these areas will benefit the community!

Again, congratulations to all of the new Board Members and thank you to all of the property owners for voting and making the Deerfield Resort Homeowners Association, Inc a reality!
