Was able to finish a batch of boards yesterday. Sanded down to 180 grit, then grain popped with water followed by 220 grit. Pilot holes drilled for bottom feet and then maker's brand on the front edge.

Out of the clamps, scraped, planed, trimmed, chamfered and sanded through 120 grit.

I think we'll call this one "Da Beast". 1.5" thick slab of live edge walnut a full 3' long. Outfitted with rubber feet and rustic handles. Finished in our homemade board butter.

In the background is our walnut serving tray with maple and cherry accents and matching cheese slicer with black stainless hardware.

Client wanted a 3' long chunky live edge walnut charcuterie board for a display.

This slab is a full 1.5" thick after surface planing. Overall length is 36".

Gonna let it acclimate in my ship for a couple weeks before finish milling.
