My passion for building was reinforced in 1995 when working at a custom furniture shop. After developing the fundamentals of joinery, cabinetry, design, aesthetics, and proportions I transitioned to custom residential building specializing in custom homes and additions. After over two decades of mastering carpentry and woodworking I found a new passion in healthcare. I hold an active nursing licen
se and hold a degree in Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) and a Master’s in Business Administration in Healthcare Management (MBA). I am fortunate in life that I have been able to discover two completely different passions that I get to experience on a daily basis. I strive to make a positive impact in people’s lives both with my building and patient care. Romans Structures was developed and merged from a previous business I had when working as a carpenter. I do not isolate myself to just furniture and wanted to use the word “structures” as this is more defining of the work I do. Roman in itself is pretty defining in that the Romans were a civilization with longevity, cutting edge technology, built structures that still last today, and of course strength. I believe that solid wood furniture can be built and sold at a price that discourages people from buying cheaply made products that end up in our land fills after a couple years of use. Furniture should be an investment, a conversation piece in your home or business, and allow you to pass down the piece from generation to generation. We gladly take custom orders and will meet and exceed your design requests. Thank you for taking the time to read “Our Story” and look forwarding to hearing from you
