Daniels' Homeport is looking to hire full time Window Treatment Sales Associates and other staff.

Window Treatment Sales / Decorator / Marketing

Job Type - Full Time

Annual Compensation - $30,000 ~ $50,000 / Year + Benefits (details below)

Benefits of Employment:

Hourly Pay - $13 - $15 / Hour

2% Sales commission is on most all sales made.

Health Insurance is offered after 90 days employment, after 1 year Health Insurance is offered at no charge for full time.

Accrued Vacation – 2% of regular hours worked each paycheck, moves to 4% after the first year.

Overtime (time and a half) varies up to 10 hours per paycheck.

Federal Holidays are paid double time if worked.

Closed Sundays, 4th of July, Christmas and Thanksgiving.

Job Details:

Working with clients to pick the best and most functional window treatment for their application.

Learning about new product in the window treatment industry.

Operate a cash register, including taking customers money in return for goods and services.

Basic use of computers and modern electronic equipment.

Basic knowledge of computer Office suites, specifically word processing and spread sheets.

Setting up and maintaining floor model displays as well as general store upkeep.

Typical duties associated with the day to day activities presented by a retail environment, including light cleaning.

Working a 40+ hour work week, including some Saturdays.

Participation in special events, such as seminars, shows and off site marketing.

Sales Associates are encouraged to visit trade shows (expenses paid) and participate in the decision making for the Window Treatment department.

Window Treatment Installation / Carpentry

Job Type - Full Time

Annual Compensation - $30,000 ~ $50,000 / Year + Benefits (details below)

Benefits of Employment:

Hourly Pay - $13 - $15 / Hour

$2 ~ $15 commission per window treatment installed. Average annual salary is $30~40K for the first 1-2 years, $40~50+ in the years beyond.

Setting up and maintaining floor model displays as well as general store upkeep.

Typical duties associated with the day to day activities presented by a carpentry environment, including using a measuring tape, drill, saw, ladder as well as light cleaning.

Working a 40+ hour work week, including some Saturdays.

Participation in special events, such as seminars, shows and off site marketing.

Window Treatment Installers are encouraged to visit training seminars (expenses paid) and participate in the decision making for the Window Treatment department.
