Harvey Fertilizer and Gas Company is looking for full-time LP Gas Service Technician Apprentice to be on our team to represent the company on the road and at customer locations while providing quality service to ensure and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, productivity and safety. No experience is required, but experience provides for higher pay and leadership opportunities. This position will be located in Goldsboro, NC
Responsibilities/Duties:
· Performs the installation, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair propane equipment for Ag, commercial and retail customers
· Provides emergency response and system installation & testing
· Loads, secures, transports, delivers and unloads propane tanks to and from specific destinations
· Assists other technicians and/or other employees as needed
· Resolves customer concerns or complains in a professional and helpful manner and provide excellent customer service during daily interaction with customers
· Ensures the appearance and condition of company vehicles, equipment, tools, and other assets are safe, clean and maintained
· Available for on call-duty, nights, weekends and holidays
· Ability to work overtime
· Responsible for any other tasks and duties as assigned, which may or may not relate to the normal scope of this position
Qualifications:
· Graduate of high school or equivalent
· Valid CDL Class B with tanker and hazmat required within 6 months from the hire date
· Self-motivated with a high degree of comfort working independently in managing priorities and making decisions
· Demonstrate ability to work as part of the team
· Must have clean driving records
· Must meet pre-employment (post offer) eligibility standards set for background check and drug/alcohol screenings
