We at Imperial want to recognize the passing of a very dear friend, Jennings Renegar. He was such a nice man and was always encouraging and complimentary of the Job we did for him. He was truly one of the nicest men that I have know.
We remember his immediate family as well as his extended family at Salem Funeral Home. We will miss him greatly.
It is with immense sadness that we share that funeral director Jennings Renegar died on Wednesday, October 26th. As many know he was and will forever be remembered as an integral part of the Salem Funeral Home family. We grieve alongside his wife Julie, his son John (Robin), and daughter Jennifer (Brian) and their families. Jennings has worked alongside our family for 55 years, longer than any known employee, and he did this with pride and integrity. We realize that Salem Funeral Home will never be the same without Jennings. He was the heart of our business, putting his whole self into families he met. We recognize that his reach and care went far beyond what we can put into words, and for that our family and funeral home are eternally grateful to him and his family for sharing his time and dedication to us. Jennings will live on with all of us and never be forgotten for his service to this community. - John Vogler. Visitation will be held at our Main St. location on Friday, October 28 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday at our Main St. Chapel with a burial following at Forsyth Memorial Park. salemfh.com/obituaries/Jennings-Austin-Renegar?obId=26226758 #/obituaryInfo
