We are a Veteran owned and operated business. I come to you with nearly 20 years of experience in the fields of high-end finished carpentry and construction project management. Before my decade-long tenure in the United States Navy, I spent my time as one of the youngest finished carpentry team leads back in my home town of Charleston, South Carolina, where I worked on multi-million-dollar estates

in prestigious communities like Kiawah Island and Historic Downtown Charleston. It was there that I developed my keen eye for finished carpentry and my meticulous work ethic. I pride myself on not only my wide variety of skills when it comes to construction and carpentry but also my creativity. As an out-of- the-box thinker, I can visualize my clients' spaces and see them for all of their full potential. All of my builds are fully custom and solid; we do not use pre-fabricated cabinets or pressboard in our builds. We also have a wide variety of hard woods to choose from to set your project apart from others! I look forward to helping you with your next project!

Veteran-owned and operated, Board & Beam blends together the fine craftsmanship of woodworking with the dedicated skill of carpentry, bringing you high quality, custom pieces for your home, office and beyond. Andrew specializes in a wide variety of custom built-ins, cabinets, furniture and everything in-between — if you can dream it, we can build it! We work with various reclaimed woods from around the region, in addition to an array of speciality hardwoods.

Finding the right person to help make your home improvements is very difficult. If you are like most individuals, your home is one of your greatest investments. A sentiment that he does not take lightly. Andrew treats every single project of ours as if it were taking place in our own home — he does not accept anything less than excellent. Andrew’s goal is to not only help you design and build your custom carpentry and furniture needs, but also to make the process easy and enjoyable for you as well.

Because Grooms Carpentry is a small locally owned company, we can give you the personalized service for even the smallest projects that large contractors are simply unable to provide.
