Sterling Price Days is bringing back the Car & Truck Show, and we’ve got some AWESOME prizes and goodies lined up! 🤠🏆

🎉HIGH SCHOOL BANDS & COMMUNITY FLOATS — WE WANT YOU!

We’re looking for high school bands to come be part of the Sterling Price Days Parade! Bring your band, your school spirit, and your music and help us make this year’s parade one to remember! 🤠🎶

🏆 High school bands will be professionally judged, with the top 3 receiving custom Sterling Price Days plaques!

We also want to see our community floats out there! Grab your family, business, organization, or group and put together a float. 🎉

🥇 1st Place — $150
🥈 2nd Place — $100
🥉 3rd Place — $75

📢 Important Sterling Price Days Update

We want to be open and honest with our community about why The Bucket will no longer be at Sterling Price Days this year.

The Sterling Price committee did everything we were supposed to do. We discussed this well in advance, received approval, and made plans accordingly. We were under the understanding that everything had been approved and that The Bucket would be able to be part of our festival.

Unfortunately, the City Council later went back on that approval, leaving us in a position where we could no longer move forward with something that had already been agreed upon.

A large part of this situation also came from pushback from a local business owner, who strongly opposed The Bucket being there. Instead of being able to work together and find a solution that would benefit the festival and our community, the situation became focused on one business and their objections.

We want to make it very clear: the Sterling Price committee did not cancel The Bucket. We tried everything we could to make it work. We communicated, followed the proper process, received approval, and continued trying to find a solution even after the decision was changed.

It is extremely disappointing that after putting in the time and effort to bring something new to Sterling Price Days, we are now unable to do so because of decisions made outside of the committee’s control.

We aren’t sharing this to create more drama or division. We simply feel that our community deserves to know what happened and that we did everything in our power to make it work.

We appreciate everyone who continues to support Sterling Price Days, our vendors, and everything this festival brings to our community. ❤️
